A better method of utilising your credit card frequent flyer points is to first and foremost, chose a generic, rather than an airline specific frequent flyer credit card. Many credit card companies are now offering cards where your frequent flyer points can be redeemed for a ticket in any domestic or international carrier and are not limited to just one airline.
