Too often people use credit repair companies to do this because they think that if they pay a lawyer a lot of money the job will get done. Of course this might be true, but the lawyer might not really have any better success than you would have if you took your self credit repair into your own hands. Look at it this way. If you need to get a quick bite to eat, do you go to a five star restaurant? Probably not. A burger will do in most cases.
